Japan Airlines (JAL), also known as Nihon Kōkū Kabushiki-gaisha in Japanese, is the flag carrier and one of the largest airlines in Japan.
Japan Airlines was founded in 1951 and initially operated domestic flights. Over the years, it expanded its services to become a major international airline.
The airline’s main hub is at Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) (HND), and its headquarters is located in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan.
